As mentioned in Entry #6, bringing one’s pH level into the optimum range is critical for detox.
I don’t yet understand the scientific reasoning for this but the instructions sheet for some pH testing strips I’ve purchased came with some interesting information.
It reads:
“Human blood stays in a very narrow range right around 7.35 - 7.45; being consistently outside this range can lead to chronic disease.”
“Research shows that unless the body’s pH level is slightly alkaline, the body cannot heal itself…
If your body’s pH is not balanced, you cannot effectively assimilate vitamins, minerals and food supplements. You body pH affects everything.”
Big if true.
Right let’s see where I’m at. Testing urine. The strips are made for saliva readings as well but I can’t be bothered to do that right now.
It’s not clear in the image, but my result was between 6.5-6.75 which, according to the testing kit, is in the ‘moderate range’.
That means I’m not too far off but have work to do. All being well ‘The pH Miracle’ book I mentioned will arrive on Monday. My tasks hereon are to:
Get myself into the optimum range and share how I did it.
And explain the science as to why the right pH environment makes a body healthy.
